Step-by-Step Guide to Changing the Stage of a Lead

Method- 1 Drag and Drop from Tile View-

1. Locate the Lead to Change Stage

  • From the Workboard, open the respective Pipeline.  In the Leads section, you can view a list of all your leads.
  • Search for the particular lead.

2.  Change the Lead Stage

  • Then press and hold the lead whose stage you want to change.
  • Drag and drop it under the required stage column and the stage will be successfully changed.

Method- 2 From Detail View-

1. Find the Lead to Change Stage

  • Use the search bar given on the workboard window to search the Lead Title.
  • Click on it and it will redirect to the Lead Detail Page.

                                   Or

  • Click on the Lead whose stage you want to change.
  • It will redirect to the Lead Detail Page.

2.  Change the Lead Stage

  • The Pipe- stages will be shown and the lead present stage will be shown with a green color.
  • Simply click on the stage of the pipeline you need to change and the stage will be successfully changed.

Method- 3 Change the stage of Multiple Leads from List View -

1. Find the Lead to Change Stage

  • Click on the table view icon given on the left side of the Add Lead Button. A window with leads in a List View will appear.
  • Click on the checkbox given on each row of Lead to select the respective Leads whose stage you want to change.

2. Change the Lead Stage

  • Choose the change Pipestage option from the dropdown that appears.
  • A pop-up with a “move lead” header will appear on your workboard.
  • Here, change the lead pipe stage by choosing the pipe stage along with the pipeline (if required).
  • Click on the Save button and now the stage will be successfully changed.

  • Regular Updates: Regularly update lead stages to reflect the current status of each lead accurately.
  • Clear Definitions: Ensure that each stage in your pipeline is clearly defined so that all team members understand the criteria for moving leads from one stage to another.
