Customizing activity purposes in SalesTown CRM allows you to categorize and manage your activities more effectively, ensuring that each task aligns with your business processes. Follow these steps to customize the activity purposes in your CRM.

Step-by-Step Guide Customize the activity purpose

1. Navigate to Activity Settings

  • From the main dashboard, locate the Essentials< Settings tab in the main menu or navigation panel.
  • Click on Settings to open the settings page.
  • In the settings page, click on the Tools< Activity Setting option and the activity setting page will be displayed.

2. Open Activity purpose

  • In the activity settings window, click on the Activity Purpose tab.
  • This will open the default activity purpose list with the add New Purpose button.

3. Add a new Activity Purpose

  • Click on the Add New Purpose button. 
  • A popup form will appear to add the activity purpose details. Fill in the following fields:
        • Purpose Name: Enter a name for the new activity purpose (e.g., Follow-up Call, Initial Meeting, Product Demo).
        • Icon: (Optional) Choose the icon relatable to the activity Purposer to help users understand it through the icon.
      • Click the Save button to save the new activity purpose.

4. Edit an Existing Activity Purpose

  • Find the activity purpose you want to edit from the list of existing activity purposes.
  • Click on the Edit option next to the activity purpose.
  • A pop-up form with prefilled details will appear. Update the purpose name or icon as needed.
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

5. Deactivate an Activity Purpose

  • Find the activity purpose you want to deactivate from the list of existing activity purposes.
  • Click on the Deactivate option next to the activity purpose.
  • Immediately the activity purpose will be deactivated..
