SalesTown CRM allows you to customize various forms by marking specific fields as important or mandatory. This ensures that essential information is always captured during the data entry process. Below is a detailed guide on how to mark fields as important pr mandatory in different forms within SalesTown CRM.

Step-by-Step Guide to Mark the Fields Important

1. Navigate to Important Fields Settings

  • From the main dashboard, locate the Essentials< Settings tab in the main menu or navigation panel.
  • Click on Settings to open the settings page.
  • In the settings page, find and click on the Tools< Important Field option.
  • This will open the Important Fields window.
  • Here List of forms will be showcased such as  Leads, Lead won, Lead Lost, Organizations, Persons, Prospect, and Channel Partner.

2. Mark Fields as Mandatory in Different Forms

  • In the form customization settings, select the respective form from the list of available forms.
  • Click on the checkbox next to each field you want to mark as mandatory
  • After clicking, immediately the respective field will be marked as mandatory when submitting the form. 

3. Fields to mark as mandatory

🔶 Add Lead- Organization, Lead Title, Value, Probability, Expected close date, Organization address, Contact person email, Contact person phone, Organization Country, Organization State, Organization City, Organization Pincode

🔶 Lead Won- Won value

🔶Lead Lost- Lost Reason, Lost Comment 

🔶Add Organization- Organization Type, Country, State, City, Pincode, Address 

🔶Add Person- Email, Phone number, Department, Designation

🔶 Add Prospect- Prospect Title, Organization name, Person email, Person Phone number, Address, Product

🔶 Channel Partner- Organization, Description, Email, Phone, Address, Country, State, City, Pincode
