A Calendar in SalesTown CRM, similar to Google Calendar, is a tool for scheduling and managing activities such as calls, meetings, tasks, and emails. It is crucial for keeping track of all activities, ensuring timely follow-ups, and maintaining an organized workflow to drive sales processes efficiently.
This guide will walk you through the steps to check activities on the SalesTown Calendar.
Guide to checking the activity from the Calendar
1. Navigate to the Calendar page to access
- On the workboard, locate the Essential tab in the main menu or navigation panel.
- Click on the Calendar option to open the calendar view.
2. Calendar View Options
- The SalesTown Calendar offers various views such as Today, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. By default, the weekly view will be displayed but you can switch between these views to get a detailed or overview look at your activities.
- In Case, you want to choose a specific date, you can choose it from the monthly calendar on the right sidebar.
- You can also see the Upcoming Activities and Overdue Activities list from the right sidebar.
Activities scheduled on specific dates will be displayed as events on the calendar.
3. Check Scheduled Activities
- Scheduled activities, will be displayed and each activity will typically show a brief description that includes the type (e.g., call, meeting, task, email) and time.
- Click on a specific activity to open a detailed view. This will provide more information such as the Activity Purpose, Activity Type, Relatable contact and lead associated with the activity, Description, Date and Time, and mark as a done button.
4. Managing Activities on the Calendar
๐ถAdding Activities:
- Click on a specific date or time slot on the calendar to add a new activity. A pop-up to add will be displayed.
- Fill in the required details such as the activity title, type, date, time, activity display color, associated lead or contact, and any relevant notes.
- Click Save to add the activity to the calendar.
๐ถEditing Activities:
- Click on an existing activity to open its detailed view.
- Click on the Edit button to modify the activity details.
- Make the necessary changes and click Save to update the activity.
The Activity Type, Title, and Notes can only be edited.
๐ถDeleting Activities:
- Click on the activity you want to delete to open its detailed view.
- Click on the Delete button, usually found at the bottom or top right corner of the detailed view.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted to remove the activity from the calendar.
๐ถMark Activity Done:
- Click on the activity, to open the detailed view of whose activity you want to Mark as Done.
- Click on the Radio button, given before the purpose of the activity
- A pop-up to fill out the activity Report will be shown.
- After filling, click on the Mark as Done button to mark the activity as done.
The activity report will only be asked to be filled out when required by the account admin, who can mark it as mandatory from the Activity Settings tab in the Settings section.
