In SalesTown CRM, efficiently managing your contact's data is crucial for maintaining a streamlined workflow. This detailed guide will walk you through the steps to import and export contacts, ensuring you can easily transfer and manage your contact information. By following these instructions, you can keep your contact data accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to your sales team.

Step-by-Step Guide to Import  the Contacts in SalesTown CRM

1. Navigate to Import Setting

  • From the main dashboard, locate the Essentials< Settings tab in the main menu or navigation panel.
  • Click on Settings to open the settings page.
  • In the settings page, find and click on the User Data < Import  option.
  • This will open the Import page, which includes different modules Tab such as Leads, Contact, Seeding, and Products

2. Download the Template

  • Go to the Contacts tab by clicking on it. The Contact Import window will appear.
  • Before importing, download the sample template provided by SalesTown CRM to ensure your data matches the required format.
  • Click on the Download Format link.

3. Prepare Your Data

  • Open the downloaded template.
  • Fill in your contact data according to the column headers in the template.
  • Ensure each column is filled out correctly, and mandatory fields are not left blank.

4. Upload the File

  • After preparing your data, go back to the Import Contacts section.
  • Click on the Choose File button to select your filled template.
  • Then tick on the Add to CRR Option, in case you want to add the contacts to the Farming Module.
  • Click on the Import Contacts button.
  • The system will notify you once the import is successful.

 

Step-by-Step Guide to Export  the Contacts  in SalesTown CRM

Here you can export the Organization and Person ( contacts) separately.

🔶Export Organization-

1. Navigate to Export Setting

  • From the main dashboard, locate the Essentials< Settings tab in the main menu or navigation panel.
  • Click on Settings to open the settings page.
  • In the settings page, find and click on the User Data < Export option.
  • This will open the Import page, which includes different modules Tab such as Leads, Organization, Contacts, Seeding, Farming, and Others.

2. Select Export Criteria

  • Go to the Organization tab by clicking on it. The  Organization Export window will appear.
  • Click on the Export Organization button.
  • The system will generate the export file in .csv and .xls format.

3. Download the File

  • Once the export process is complete, a download link will be provided in an Export History tab.
  • Click on either .csv or .xls  link to save the exported file to your device.

🔶Export Contacts-

1. Select Export Criteria

  • From the Essentials< Settings User Data < Export option.
  • Go to the Contacts tab by clicking on it. The  Contact Export window will appear.
  • Choose the respective Pipeline, Users, and Lead Status from the dropdown given to export the particular data.
  • Click on the Export Contact button.
  • The system will generate the export file in .csv and .xls format.

2. Download the File

  • Once the export process is complete, a download link will be provided in an Export History tab.
  • Click on either .csv or .xls  link to save the exported file to your device.
